The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War is a nation-wide organization, comprised of more than 200 community-based camps which are organized under 26 Departments. Our camp is part of the Department of Indiana.

Orlando Somers Camp’s organization follows the guidelines of the SUVCW, with a Camp Commander and Secretary/Treasurer which are elected annually by the Camp members. Other positions of responsibility within the Camp are by appointment of the Camp Commander.
